If I accidentally delete or remove text from a plain text case note or formatted text document, can this be recovered?
If a plain text note or formatted text document has accidentally been updated, a Case Manager System Administrator can check the Audit History via Web Case Manager (go to View > Audit History) to check the old and new values of the note. Or if the note was deleted, the old values should still be present here. Adjust the filters appropriately to the desired values and review the results.
You can learn more about the Audit History at our Learning site here – Audit History
Case Manager now stores notes directly in the database and doesn’t upload them to a backup cloud storage location. This means that when notes are lost or deleted, they are effectively removed from the database and Chameleon Support are no longer able to recover them.
